The Assessor’s office must provide a response to your appeal by the last working day in June. This value is known as the Notice of Determination. We will notify you of the county’s determination along with an estimate of the tax savings you have achieved. If you are not satisfied with the assessor’s decision, you must file a written appeal with the County Board of Equalization. Your appeal must be postmarked or delivered on or before July 15, 2023.

Soon thereafter, we will be notified of the hearing date for the CBOE hearing.
August 10, 2023
The CBOE’s decision will be issued no later than August 10, 2013. If you are not satisfied with the decision, an appeal must be submitted to one of the following three options:
- District Court
- Board of Assessment Appeals
- Or Arbitration with the County Commissioners.
The appeal must be submitted in writing no later than thirty (30) days after the CBOE’s decision is mailed. The Board is required to give at least 30 days’ notice prior to the hearing; however, a notice of hearing is usually mailed 45 to 60 days prior to the scheduled hearing date.
If you disagree with the decision of the District Court or the Board of Assessment Appeals, you have the right to appeal this decision to the Court of Appeals for judicial review within 45 days from the date of the Board’s decision. Decisions of Arbitration with the County Commissioners are final.
